Talde

Editorial Review

Located on the north end of south Park Slope, Top Chef alum Dale Talde's new restaurant—with partners David Massoni and John Bush of the beloved Thistle Hill Tavern down the avenue—is a welcome addition to the tidy yet not particularly exciting neighborhood. Start with Hawaiian bread buns, iceberg wedge with Chinese bacon salad, and "Phot roast" soup. Move on to mains like Korean fried chicken, barbecued pork shoulder, crispy oyster and bacon pad thai. For dessert: shaved ice sundae with Cap'n Crunch and milk jam. Fancy cocktails and a half dozen inspired draft beers will keep you loose, sleek wood-and-chrome atmosphere will keep you looking.
