Former carriage house now houses one of the most delightful restaurants in New Orleans. Upscale new American menu dips a toe in Italian waters from time to time with braised Italian sausage and pappardelle bolognese, steers back to the states with roast pork sandwich with pickled greens and chili aoli. Impressive wine list, but we can't get past the cocktails. Aviation, Vesper's Whisper, Sylvain Sazerac ... we're in heaven. Dark woods and candlelight make this a proper date spot.
