A modest proposal for a full night of quaffing. Standard pub trappings, but somehow adds up to more than sum of its parts. Candlelit snug in front, tables and bar in the midsection, but main scene goes down at the communal tables in back. Dark wood, old brick, mellow vibe except for weekends when NYU takes over. Burgers, cottage pie, $1 hotdogs. Don't ask for fries, though. Muraled Mr. Swift hoists a Brobdingnagian pint of Guinness, tempts you to do the same.
