Best to commit, not blow at Vikram Chatwal's midtown sleeper. Extra willpower required to vacate 300+ thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets and ultra-plush feather duvet, but the city beckons. Tripped-out ultra-modern lobby with swan’s neck chandeliers, but rooms are the same cramped size they were when this was Quality Inn Times Square not so long ago. Preloaded iPod on loan to drown out midtown decibels, daily endorphin dose with complimentary access to NYSC. Aspen Social Club available in-house, or go rub happy hour elbows with grizzled New York Post reporters at Langan's across the street.
