Editorial Review

Would be a shame to forgo visit to Start, a seriously trendy off/online Shoreditch boutique and brainchild of rock star Philip Start and wife Brix Smith. Redefines experiential shopping and oozes glamour whislt escaping concept store cliché. Separate women's, men's wear stores and men's tailoring outfit, stocking up-and-coming labels alongside established fashionista favourites including Miu-Miu, Issa, Vanessa Bruno and Helmut Lang. Laid out over two floors, Start serves up its designer fashion with touch of disco balls and animal quirkiness with owner's omnipresent Pug dogs. If you have a penchant for expensive denim, one-to-one service and gorgeous accessories, then hurry over. Lowpoint: total lack of mirrors in the changing rooms.
