Joe Carroll rounds out his Williamsburg trifecta with St. Anselm, an upmarket steakhouse with cozy Brooklyn charm. Located next to Spuyten Duyvil and across the street from Fette Sau, BBQ pit master Yvon de Tassigny mans the gas grill to deliver the best cut of beef this side of town. You’ll want to come early to avoid the wait, but it’s more than worth it for their hearty menu that will satisfy both meat lovers, vegetarians, and everyone in between. Grab an intimate table for two or slide up by the grill-side bar and dig into their savory lamb saddle, smokey trout, or grilled tomato and burrata with a hearty pairing of beers on tap.
