Though Soho House New York made a splash with its exclusivity (and New Yorkers assume L.A. wants to copy them) this satellite in West Hollywood isn't a sure thing just yet. These things have been tried in the recent past, and just didn't pan out (see: Doheny). On the other hand, the membership fees aren't as outrageous as one might expect, and there's a private elevator to the club, which spans the top two floors of a Sunset Strip building. And who doesn't like private elevators?
