Editorial Review

Hidden under the Ukrainian National Home, a complex that also includes a restaurant and an optometrist, the Sly Fox is simply a basement for Ukrainians to get drunk in. Winding down the indoor wheelchair ramp into the dark square bar, you're surrounded by all the makings of a divey Euro frat house: speckled black floor, dark mirrored ceiling tiles, and a TV broadcasting The Simpsons amid Euro pop music. To avoid the annoying NYU-boasting frat kids, go for the 7-10pm happy hour. At any time of day, load up on the $5 beers and shots, and $2 pints of PBR.
