A time capsule of cool by way of all things Japanese design in work wear and western wear. Specializing in Selvedge/raw denim, this intriguing space – tiled floors, vintage furnishings, hardwood details – is home to the finest denim impressing even the truest connoisseur. First floor hangs rare brands including Iron Heart, Triple Works and Imperial Denim. Second floor (up the rod iron staircase) leads to all things plaid. Everything’s made on vintage machinery and promises to get better with time. Sentiment is captured in museum like qualities with well-worn jeans encased in glass hanging on the walls. Owners have gone to great lengths to seek out the best and offer a unique service: hemming done by special chain-stitching vintage machines. It’s hip, cool and ironically ahead of its time.
