Sazón

Editorial Review

Sofrito offshoot brings some seasoning to Tribeca. Gussied up Puerto Rican takes the festive approach. Much rhythm from the speakers, outgoing staff. Traditional eats in refined versions, can't go wrong with mofongo, pernil, or ropa vieja. Empanadas, grilled shrimp in rum glaze, and stuffed taro root to start. Duplex is big and modern, main space backed by upbeat orange walls. Amazin's sure to be making more appearances, following up on Carlos Beltran's birthday bash.
