Originally in Chicago's Little Italy neighborhood and now a local chain, the big appeal of Rosebud is its yesteryear mafia connections, which seem to impress passing Michigan Avenue windowshoppers looking for authentic Chicago Italian. (One wonders if there is such a thing anymore, unless you're sitting in Orso's on Wells Street.)
