Rhumbar takes over what used to be the Siegfried and Roy giftshop to install a tropical-themed lounge. The indoor-outdoor space takes full advantage of its location, adjacent to the newly restored Mirage "volcano," by offering patio seating. Hemmingway-esque touches include a daquiri bar, cigar humidor and chrome sculptures of fighting cocks, but delicate latticework, white marble tile and mint-green upholstery temper the machismo with a little uptown flair.
