No nonsense, no frills pub with refreshingly varied live music (on the harder side), weekly karaoke nights and homestyle food that's one of the best tasting values downtown. Shepherd's pie, burgers and other standbys are anything but standard, especially at rock-bottom prices. Blue collar crowd includes sports fans, metalheads and old timers, and if you pay attention, you might even meet the dude who years ago built Gastown's famous steam clock, still puffing away a few blocks down the street.
