Potlikker

Editorial Review

Liza Queen of the late Queen's Hideaway reboots with some old weird America. Name comes from the broth that greens leave behind, inspiration derives from diners and such, complete with blue plate specials. Belly up to the bar for classic sandwiches like corned beef tongue and buttermilk dressing, meatloaf on a Parker House roll, or fried oysters with Meyer lemon marmalade. Dinners get more elaborate, with artisanal and organic origins and seriously interesting effects. Casual space with fresh air floating through the open front windows.
