Because you can't afford a bistro after blowing your paycheck on mid-century modern furniture. Holdover from Dumbo's pre-gentri day. Tacos and dirt-cheap drinks, and no pepper spray necessary. Mismatched furniture, awesome sidewalk booths, general appealing downtrodden vibe. Dirty Mexican/Latino, just the way it should be. Occasional live bands get you groovin'.
