Hotel bar dates back to the '20s, but look and feel is all of the moment. Minimalist sheen contrasted with ornate chandeliers. Bright red banquettes backed up against black and white pics. Mirrored surfaces reference back to tacky disco stylings of former incarnation. Peacefully take in the rat cluster, er, "scene" on 46th Street through big windows. Elaborate-cocktail meme in full effect, booze it up with “The Bright and the Beautiful”: jalapeño tequila, watermelon, agave nectar, and muddled mint. Long glossy bar for settling in, rehashing your night on Broadway.
