Papa Lima Sandwich

Editorial Review

Medium may be bread, meat, and mayo, but artisans here approach sandwiches with reverence normally reserved for haute cuisine. Tempting menu combines unironic lowbrow comforters (potato chips on turkey) with inspired foodie twists (lemon shrimp and arugula). Not a Boar's Head on rye affair -- veggies are all locally sourced and organic. Agonizingly slow, occasionally aloof service and precipitous prices routinely forgiven after a bite or two.
