For those mourning the close of Drago's Santa Monica location, relief comes in the form of this more casual Sunset Boulevard version. Owner Celestino has replaced the formal feeling of his former eatery with this bright, airy space that even has a summery front porch. Plates are more accessible too, featuring an obvious Italian roundup of antipasti, pastas, and mains, but with playful twists featuring sea urchin, kale, and squid ink. Come early to give yourself time to delve into the lengthy but thoughtful wine list.
