Ooba

Editorial Review

Slick lounge space for an evolving Grand Street. Nightclub effects could pass for MePa or Chelsea, spread across three levels (mezzanine, sunken well, and flatscreened main space). Iron, brick, and flattering lights. Extensive tapas list has lots of churrasco options with excellent chimichurri. Fried green plantains topped with shrimp and garlic and cilantro sauce a definite winner. Sangria keeps the party flowing.
