Back in 1978 Only Hearts opened up on Columbus Avenue and literally sold, only hearts. The theme created a sensation and the store became known as something of a romance depot. Today it stocks the sweetest lingerie and bedclothes for ladies in addition to flirty cotton dresses, blouses, and accessoires--for, uh, leaving the house. The downtown outpost lets in lots of light and is a recommended stop if you come up with the original idea to roam Nolita after brunch. Nothing better compliments mimosas than a matching lingerie set.
