If Montauk had a Cheers it would be O'Murphy's (except Cliff would be a charter boat captain). Everybody knows owners Chet and Jan, who know everybody. Checked tablecloth (green, of course) tables are comfy as barstools for eating serviceable pub grub and decent burgers, or just putting a few back. Place shines as center of town's raucous St. Patrick's Day celebration, but neon shamrocks and Guinness keep it Celtic to the core all year long.
