Numero 28 Pizza Napoletana e Ristorante

Editorial Review

Late, lamented Gino of Capri lives on inside Neapolitan pizza place. Mini-chain adds uptown outpost, recruits former Gino’s chef to reprise fan faves. Lasagna, gnocchi with secret sauce, penne with speck and truffle oil. Pizza aplenty, in red, white, and gluten-free iterations, singed just right in the wood-burning oven. Trim space with tableside candlelight keeps things date-friendly, as does full-on negroni and Americano cocktail program. White walls, rustic wood, vintage black and white pics complete the scene.
