Beacon of light amid general MSG wasteland. Bar and restaurant in the Affinia Hotel keeps it minimally chic, with white walls and tablecloths, bold accents, futuristic lighting. Serves all three meals, plus room service. New American with international slants. Pizzas and pastas, New York strip, mahi mahi in a teriyaki glaze. Bar scene ebbs and flows with Penn Station commuters and MSG events. At any hour, Fraiser's brother would feel right at home.
