Neta

Editorial Review

A mini-Masa for the Village. Former Bar Masa and Masa head chefs join forces, hang their own sushi shingle. Name comes from the Japanese for the fresh parts, and brother, this shizz is fresh. Omakase ain’t cheap, but definitely shows off the mastery. Open kitchen turns out small plates like Dungeness crab with wild parsley, and scallops with sea urchin and garlic-soy butter. Minimal interior keeps focus on the food. Granite flooring, ebony accents, long maple bar for keeping close to all the knife-flashing action.
