Straight out of Gifu, chef Ariki Omae, late of Nobu and Morimoto, keeps the Chelsea masses happy. Mostly classic sushi, with the occasional fusiony touch. We're loving on ceviche with aji citrus soy and spicy tuna roll wrapped in yellowtail. Solid kampachi, hamachi, unagi, and butterfish on the omakase. Hospitality is not a strength here, but still packs ‘em in, and no reservations so pick your arrival time carefully. Nice space, arty thatched pinewood inlays, lots of windows, feel is open, minimal, and clean.
