Momofuku Milk Bar & Bakery - Downtown

Editorial Review

Not for the lactose-intolerant. Dulce de leche cake, blueberry cream cookies, brilliant soft-serve creations, and The Volcano—potato gratin with gruyere cheese and Benton's bacon—certified to get you back on carbs. Get there early. Yes, Momofuku, in the morning. Rationed cake slices denied to rabid evening queues. Also Crack Pie, with brown sugar, sugar, sugar, and sugar, all dumped in pie. Cereal sog connoisseurs will appreciate flake-flavored milk, just like from the bowl at home. Yes, they have the famous buns, too, pork belly with deep-fried soft-poached egg, cucumber, hoisin, and scallions. Baby got back, indeed.
