Editorial Review

Craft beers and neat cocktails in a (relatively) quiet Murray Hill space. Shmancy drinks not just for downtowners anymore. Interior is classy but no frills: brick walls, original-detail fireplace. Stainless steel bar downstairs, wooden tables up. Familiar sheet of rules explicates no fighting, no making travel arrangements outdoors, no name-dropping. Sasha Petraske’s always-thoughtful cocktail list includes the “Conversation” (not a Jersey Shore character, just white rum, orange bitters, curaçao, and dry vermouth). Small plates and the occasional live jazz as well.
