The one bad thing about eating in Manhattan is that you can't actually see it. That all changes with Maritime Parc, a sleek, glassy, fine food emporium on the banks of the mighty Hudson, in Liberty State Park in Jersey City. Marvel at Manhattan by night while tearing into some of the most exquisite lobster this side of main. Exec. chef/Owner Chris Siversen has crafted a nifty, seafood inspired menu that includes a flavor-packed Pan Roasted Black Cod, rich Grilled Oysters with Leek and Bacon Cream, and a killer, impossibly fresh raw bar. Not to fear carnivores. The pleasures of the flesh are on hand too with braised short rib, tender rib eye, and the like. Wine list runs a mile long, and the spacious, modern second and third floors are perfect (and more for) special events. Well worth the trip.
