Steakhouse 2.0. Dream Downtown’s lobby resto puts contemporary sheen on clubby meat scene. Menu checks beef’s greatest hits, nodding south of the border (carne asada with poblano and pico de gallo), to the west (cowboy rib-eye with chili dust), and at nearby Sammy’s (the “L.E.S. Romanian Skirt”). Salads and raw bar for more petite grazing. Nicely lit room thanks to mismatched glass globes over head. Black leather banquettes, elegant wood, long backlit bar.
