Name's been around since 1937, although shop is actually a recent J.Crew spinoff. More downtowny than the mother ship, still tends toward the simple, classic, and wearable. Strong in denim, serving up Bootlegger, Rail Straight, Skinny Low, Skinny Ankle, Slim Slouch, and Ex-Boyfriend (heavily distressed, natch). Also T's and scarves, ankle booties, city satchels. Sales make up for slightly high prices, so make sure you time things right.
