Former meat locker has the old world touch and MePa rarity of an intimate back room. Name literally means meat market and generous cuts of steak pay proper homage. Splurge on the porterhouse for two. Interior's brick walls, old beef signage, stylized cow head further point to the classic steakhouse thing. Housemade garganelli with soft, delicious oxtail ragu a major standout.
