LINQ

Editorial Review

Owned by a group of Nepalese immigrants who’ve managed bars and clubs in Lan Kwai Fong for many years, LINQ is a distillation of their ideal bar. It’s unpretentious yet sophisticated. It’s fun and bustling with just enough people on Saturdays, but not to the point where there’s no place to put your elbows. And kudos to them for making a moral stand, eschewing the members-only scam they’ve been a part of for so many years—they are decent enough to decide that the place they own ought to be open to everyone. The crowd ranges from yuppies to models to bohemians to journalists talking about politics.
