Editorial Review

The Far Bar, in local parlance, but well worth the trip. Nicely weathered corner spot thick with neighborhood history, resurrected by the folks behind Greenpoint's Pencil Factory. Low-lit, dark wood interior often illuminated by live jazz. Head to the back garden for smokes and conversation in the twilight hours. Excellent imports and Brooklyn on tap. The hood deserved a bar with this much character.
