San Francisco » Bar » Sonoma Valley » Lounge
Built in 1999, but designed to look 100-years-older (when the Ledson family first established itself in Sonoma), the six uniquely decorated guest rooms (antique furniture, glass chandeliers, and marble fireplaces) capture all the finest of a past time without the inconvenience of, say, old plumbing and bad heating. The Harmony Lounge -- equally as elaborate and open to the historic town square -- is a great place to watch tourists tottering about. The barfood menu is a little stodgy and over-priced. As for drinks, best to stick with the Ledson family's wines or classic cocktails rather than bother with house specialties like the Raspberry Creamsicle or the Peartini.
