A new, relaxing, quiet boutique in a colonial looking building on the back side of Causeway Bay, there never seems to be anybody in the lobby — and it’s got a huge and sparse one, with a verandah. That’s a good thing, especially if you want periodic escape from the insanity of Hong Kong’s rhythms and motions. The rooms’ designs are the draw, because although the suites are bright and not too small, Lanson Place is still a boutique, and will lack the comfort of a Peninsula or a Mandarin.
