Star chef from Bangkok kicks Thom to the curb, hires Rockwell to paper the place with orchids and buddhas and gets busy with the monkfish curry. Sea bass with morning glory, steak with chili and wild ginger. Bold spice and ethereal essence, presented family style and expensive in every way. Look for good-luck goldfish and good-luck coins under the tables, discovery of which will not, unfortunately, balance out rent-sucking bill.
