Editorial Review

Ur-Top Chef Harold Dieterle joins his Perilla partner for sophisto Thai in the Village. Traditional dishes, with Western technique and local ingredients. Small plates good for sharing, gamy ingredients good for conversation: massaman curry with goat, sour yellow curry with rabbit leg, egg noodles with a sexy poached duck egg. Homemade ingredients abound, like the spicy Thai pickle brine that mixes with gin in the signature cocktail. Petite, casual room, finished with a granite bar, hand-blown glass, and a four-seat counter for Dieterle groupies seeking front row seats.
