Kill Devil Hill

Editorial Review

Sounds like it could be a fundamentalist enclave, but is actually super-chill general store/curiosity shop. Skulls, clothes, ephemera, clocks, all under the heading Americana (and most under the subheading Pre-1945). Mom and pop owners gather eclectic collection while roadtripping, supplement with Brooklyn finds. Industrial leftovers, well-loved denim, antlers, penny candy.
