Trendy sushi bar phenomenon strikes gold again. Nestled in the Andaz, this is a great choice if you're feeling a little nostalgic for the L.A. scene. Crisp, clean decor with bamboo-colored booths and sterile white tables. Blown-up close-ups of the flawless facial features of some model grace the walls with their presence as chef Katsuya Uechi works wonders with most things fish. Start with the crispy rice with spicy tuna and make your way to the almond-crusted scallops. Not your laid-back San Diego beachy vibe, but you can relax anywhere with a watermelon cucumber mojito in hand.
