Aspen » Bar » Downtown Core » Pub
The former Bentley's is nicer than ever following a renovation that gussied it up good without losing its historic charm. The menu's a creative take on American classics, from crispy pork belly sliders to Colorado Black Angus Flatiron steak (yee-ha!). But the bar ... oh the bar ... is so good, easily competitive with the finest in New York or LA. Plenty of signature cocktails on the menu, but it's the kind of joint where you can just tell the well-dressed barman the kinds of flavors you like, and he'll freestyle you a cocktail on the spot. "If you don't like this one, I'll make you another," he told us. We liked this one.
