Run by a Japanese food distributor founded in 1926, midtown showroom sells all the equipment, dishes and supplies needed to open a full-service sushi restaurant and/or stock your 25-square-foot personal kitchen. At the JCC, you'll find indigo Japanese curtains, sake servers, and even the plastic grass from sushi containers. The only downfall -- although they import sakes, shochu, beer, and wine, they don't have a license to sell them in the store.
