New York » Bar » Downtown Manhattan » Hotel Bar
No plain Jane here. Cross between Spy Bar and Rose Bar makes for the grandest hotel lobby in town. Dual bar space decked out with Edwardian charm, as befits hotel's 1908 origins. Posh couches, leafy palms, tortoise shell ceilings, ancient disco bar. Creative crowd unafraid to trek this far west. Property still resonates with history, not so hard to picture Titanic survivors gratefully sipping brandies right on this spot. The permits have been straightened. Entry by invitation only, please.
