Bougie brand takes over former Tri-town booze spot, leaving much of the bar intact; sub-Canal location is the first men's-only J.Crew outlet, and dollar-for-dollar, a pretty good value. Belts, ties, Bermuda shorts, jeans, sweaters, collared shirts: all-American Classics, all reasonably priced. Suits sold here, too. Setting is solid, atmosphere is Alpha Male-oriented; this ain't your Bloomie's waiting room.
