Gus’s neon sign was always famous; closed and reopened, now maybe famous for food. Start with drinks, end with red velvet cake. In between, it’s meat. Memphis, St. Louis, Texas, Carolina style. Or pure California classic burger. On brioche. Big red booths set the scene for feasting and passing out. Check out weekend outdoor cookouts in the parking lots.
