Designer and conceptualist Brendan Sodikoff (French Laundry, Ritz Paris) brings all sorts of cooking experience to River North, but it's the unique interior that'll catch your eye: vintage revolving doors, salvaged tables with mismatched chairs, seating from a reclaimed dollhouse and a bar with a hundred-year-old hammered brass counter top accented by an antique streetlight. Hand-crafted classic cocktails by The Whistler's top-gun mixologist compliment oysters on the half shell, 16-oz. pork porterhouse with caramelized apples, and simple pasta dish here and there. Almost everything is local, including funky decor and vodka.
