Giando on the Water

Editorial Review

The nicer the view, the less motivation for the venue -- isn't that how it always works? And this view is a stunner: right on the river, across from the bridges and the sparkly Manhattan skyline. Does serve lunch and dinner, but if you're here it's probably for somebody's wedding or some kind of office function. Flashy chandeliers, bored waiters in tuxes, standard red sauce Italian fare. Parking lot so you can skedaddle back to Valley Stream with ease.
