Fresh Kills

Editorial Review

Dumping ground only in the sense that some serious twentieth century design washes up here. Began its run with collection of Milo Baughmans rescued from Thayer Coggin cold storage. Owners John Agujar and Fredrick Spendlove have subsequently branched out into interior design, but shop continues to stock quirky dressers, chairs, lamps, and lithographs. New Baughman sofas from Thayer Coggin available made-to-order in various fabrics and sizes. Elegant eye in effect: all Staten Island connotations are purely accidental.
