Small, friendly, and inexpensive for L.A. Focus on seasonality and homemade: even the sodas are concocted in-house. Rose petal lemonade and gingerade are standouts. Sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts round out the menu. Grilled vegetables and dressings with fancy ingredients. It's practically a grab-and-go spot, though. No pretensions to anything greater.
