Flying A

Editorial Review

Before the Lower East Side blew up and every contemporary store had vintage and vice versa, Flying A was where it was at. Now, it's still a fine place to pop by when you're in the neighborhood (i.e. escaping Soho, heading west) but it isn't what it used to be. Or, it is and that's precisely the problem. XXL round sunglasses, Seven jeans, and hoodies sewn into blazers are not exactly on the cusp these days.
