Aspen » Bar » Downtown Core » Irish Pubs
Head down the stairs to this comfy and unpretentious Irish spot on the pedestrian-only stretch of East Hyman Avenue. Plenty of tables to sit and have a proper meal - the Guinness-braised lamb shank is a house specialty, but you'll do fine with a Mortimer burger - though your eye may be drawn to the convivial scene going down at the fetching horseshoe-shaped bar. You'll find plenty of designer-clad skiers from the coasts bending an elbow, but salty locals are always prowling around, quick with a story about the good old days before everybody was rich.
